We are happy to announce a Call for Scores for a concert by the Lyris String Quartet. See CALL FOR SCORES for more details. The concert will feature the premiere of ‘Improvisation for String Quartet’ by Frank Campo in honor of the composer’s 90th birthday. The rest of the program will be chosen from works submitted by NACUSA-LA member composers. An anonymous donor has stepped up to underwrite the concert, so composers will not have to contribute funds, as had been earlier publicized.
